Choosing Hydroxy Acids

Hydroxy acids are powerful chemical exfoliants that are scientifically proven to improve visible signs of ageing. There are two common types of hydroxy acids:

Alpha hydroxy acids (AHA) promote skin cell renewal by evenly exfoliating the outer layer of skin.
Beta hydroxy acids (BHA) target oily or acne-prone skin to refine pores and reduce the formation of blemishes.
Lipo hydroxy acid (LHA) is a subgroup of BHA, which slowly penetrate skin to restore collagen levels, exfoliate skin, and decongest pores.

How to Use Blemish and Age Cleanser

Prep + Dispense

Twice daily, apply a small amount of this exfoliating cleanser onto a wet face and neck using a light circular motion.

With one pump per cleanse daily, this cleanser will typically last between 4-6 months.*

Apply + Complete

Rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. If using in the morning, follow with SkinCeuticals vitamin C serum and a sunscreen. In the evening, follow with a SkinCeuticals corrective skincare or moisturiser.
