Reformulation and relaunch A.G.E. Eye Complex to A.G.E. Advanced Eye. This product is a next-generation eye cream for wrinkles that targets the appearance of crow’s feet, puffiness, and dark circles associated with glycation and collagen decline.

A Powerhouse Antioxidant Serum for Oily Skin
Silymarin CF launches as an oil-free vitamin C serum formulated for oily and blemish-prone skin. This breakthrough formula combines 0.5% silymarin (milk thistle extract), 15% l-ascorbic acid, 0.5% ferulic acid and 0.5% salicylic acid to help prevent oil oxidation that can lead to breakouts, and visible signs of ageing.

The Genesis of Integrated Skincare
Skinceuticals strongly believes in the power of skincare to optimise the outcomes of professional treatments and recommends pairing professional treatments with Skinceuticals products.
The brand also introduced a full professional back bar product line exclusively for use by dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other skincare professionals

SkinCeuticals formalises its philosophy of Prevent with an antioxidant, correct with a targeted serum or cream, and protect with sunscreen. These pillars remain the fundamental elements for an effective skincare approach that maintains and improves skin health.
2001
The Proof Behind the Patent
Dr. Pinnell’s landmark study about the parameters necessary for formulating a stable and effective vitamin C serum is published in The Journal of Dermatologic Surgery.
This outlines that a stable and effective vitamin C should contain:
- Pure Vitamin C
- Formulated between 10 to 20%
- At an acidic pH to maximise efficacy

As Dr Pinnell patented the duke parameters setting the golden rules of vitamin C formulation, 2 new serums were launched, Serum 10 and Serum 15, the company’s first stabilised, pure L-ascorbic acid topical antioxidant products..
