Non-Ablative Laser at a Glance

What to Know About Non-Ablative Laser Treatments
Laser skin resurfacing is not suitable for everyone. are not for everyone. Patients who are pregnant, lactating or have a history of keloid scarring should avoid non-ablative laser. Any active infection in the treatment area is a contraindication as is use of oral isotretinoin in the past 6 months.
Non-ablative laser skin resurfacing is best suited to patients looking to target early signs of photodamage and ageing, including skin concerns such as wrinkles, fine lines, uneven skin tone, dark spots and skin texture issues. Older patients or patients with deep wrinkles may be better suited to ablative laser skin resurfacing.
