Dipotassium Glycyrrhizate (Licorice Root Extract)

Dipotassium glycyrrhizate (better known to us lesser mortals as liquorice root extract) is used in skincare to help even out skin tone by visibly fading dark spots and prevent new ones from developing. It's also been shown to help preserve the levels of hyaluronic acid content in skin, and has a soothing action.

Liquorice (sometimes spelled licorice) root extract is found in intensely hydrating products such as SkinCeuticals H.A. Intensifier, a triple action corrective hyaluronic acid serum for the face.
