Our Promise

Advanced Skincare Backed By Science

Our mission is to improve skin wellbeing. Dedicated to this purpose, we make one simple promise - to provide advanced skincare backed by science.

Born from decades of research that led to pivotal breakthroughs in antioxidants, our high potency formulas are concentrated in pure actives and proven to penetrate optimally into skin.

Made in the USA, our clinical skincare is used by dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and medi-spas for daily homecare and to complement aesthetic procedures. We formulate to correct signs of ageing, protect healthy skin, and help prevent future damage.

Our History

The SkinCeuticals story started long before the company's founding in 1994, thanks to the pivotal research performed by Dr. Sheldon Pinnell. In the years since, we have continued to pave the way with breakthroughs that have changed the face of skin science.

  • 1997: SkinCeuticals launches Serum 10 and Serum 15.
  • 1999: The addition of vitamin E boosts the potency of SkinCeuticals antioxidant formulations by doubling the level of photo-protection.
  • 2002: SkinCeuticals introduces the first 100% physical sunscreen, Physical UV Defense SPF 30.
  • 2005: C E Ferulic launches with a combination of ferulic acid plus vitamins C and E.
  • 2008: The introduction of Phloretin CF establishes a new class of antioxidants.
  • 2011: The launch of Phloretin CF Gel marks an entirely new antioxidant delivery system.

Skinceuticals and Community Responsibility

At SkinCeuticals, skin wellbeing is our first priority, and we feel it's our responsibility to share our valuable knowledge and resources with the world. We support several key causes that further skin science research, promote skin health awareness, and demonstrate a commitment to skincare safety, as well as environmental awareness.

SkinCeuticals, together with ReSurge International, a global not-for-profit dedicated to increasing access to reconstructive surgical care in developing countries, has created Pioneering Women in Reconstructive Surgery. Through this initiative, we are committed to educating and advancing the first generation of local women reconstructive surgeons in developing nations, who often face significant technical and cultural obstacles to gaining acceptance in their field.

What does an antioxidant do for my skin?

Antioxidants provide protection from free radicals that cause damage deep within the skin. Unlike sunscreens that protect skin from UV rays, antioxidants prevent skin damage caused by other environmental aggressors such as pollution, cigarette smoke, alcohol, and more. SkinCeuticals antioxidants have also been proven to reduce premature skin damage, including fine lines, wrinkles, and discolouration.
